Leber took part in the BRICS International Municipal Forum 2025 in St. Petersburg. Leber’s Marketing Director, Igor Shapovalov, was invited as an expert speaker to present on the topics of production localization and the development of international cooperation.

Held from October 29 to 31 in St. Petersburg, the BRICS International Municipal Forum 2025 is one of the largest platforms for knowledge exchange between government representatives, business leaders, and experts from over 50 countries. This year, the Forum was held in synergy with the «Russian Industrialist» exhibition, forming a unified venue for dialogue among developers, manufacturers, and investors.

During the session «BRICS+ International Business: Opportunities for Domestic Economic Growth Amid Global Trade Transformation, ” Igor Shapovalov, Marketing Director of Leber, presented a report titled „Localization Instead of Isolation: How Supply Chain Restructuring with BRICS+ Partners Strengthened Russian Manufacturers.“

Igor Shapovalov emphasized that closer cooperation within the BRICS+ community helps Russian companies strengthen their positions in the global market.

«Export is not just about delivering equipment abroad. It’s a dialogue — an exchange of expertise, technologies, and the creation of new quality standards. This year, Leber’s export business has grown fourfold: we now work with dozens of partners around the world and have a deep understanding of international project dynamics. We are glad to share this experience with colleagues from BRICS countries and are confident that this forum will mark the beginning of new partnerships — both for us and for the industry, ” said Shapovalov.

His presentation attracted strong interest from forum participants and became part of a broader discussion on the role of private companies in advancing international industrial cooperation.

In addition, Leber representatives held a series of meetings with foreign delegations — including members of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives from South Africa, and a delegate from Havana — discussing potential areas of collaboration in urban infrastructure.

The forum, hosted at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center, runs through October 31, featuring 15 thematic tracks dedicated to innovation, development, digitalization, ecology, and sustainable growth. Event partners include the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Federation Council, the Governments of Moscow and St. Petersburg, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
