Leber has equipped a new fitness location with outdoor trainers in the popular Al Falah residential area. The project, realized in collaboration with the Mubadala Foundation and the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT), is part of a large-scale initiative to create 16 modern parks across Abu Dhabi.
Jeelah Park has officially opened its doors in the Al Falah district, offering a new space for workouts and family recreation. Named after the desert acacia (Ghaf tree), whose spreading canopies provide shade over running tracks and rest areas, the park is a key milestone in Abu Dhabi’s urban development program. Leber was responsible for the sporting heart of the project, installing a comprehensive range of outdoor fitness equipment.
The equipment set is designed to provide a full-body workout in the open air. The cardio zone features double elliptical trainers and steppers that simulate high-intensity walking. The strength block includes chest press and lat pulldown stations, where resistance is managed by the user’s own body weight. Additionally, the site features multi-functional workout clusters with multi-level pull-up bars and ergonomic sit-up benches designed for safe core and back training.
All equipment is engineered specifically for the region’s scorching climate. The trainers are built on steel posts treated with Leber Zinc Protect technology, providing reliable corrosion resistance. A specialized polyester coating with UV stabilizers ensures that colors remain vibrant even under the intense direct sun.
The project was commissioned by the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) and the Mubadala Foundation. The foundation is world-renowned for managing the UAE’s strategic assets and delivering global projects—ranging from high-tech medical facilities to world-class cultural landmarks. The creation of Jeelah Park is a central part of the DMT and Mubadala initiative to build 16 new public spaces throughout the city.
The Leber sports zone is already buzzing with activity. Local fitness enthusiasts are frequently sharing Reels of their workouts against the backdrop of Abu Dhabi’s futuristic skyline, and the trainers are already being used for viral social media fitness challenges.
