Description
«Wave» is an interactive module for a children’s science playground that helps kids understand how an electrical circuit works. A child turns a generator handle to charge batteries, then uses switches to connect circuit components and observe the results. Connecting an LED turns on a light, while a speaker produces sound; a signal generator allows for changes to the sound and light effects. By adjusting the circuit’s resistance, the child can compare instrument readings: an ammeter shows current, a voltmeter shows voltage, and an ohmmeter shows resistance. In this way, the user not only learns the role of each component but also tests Ohm’s Law in practice: at a constant voltage, increasing resistance decreases the current. The «Wave» module transforms the operation of an electrical circuit—and the formula I = U/R—into a hands-on experiment.
