Client: City of Moscow
Objective: To develop educational play spaces within a historical forest park. The goal was to create active leisure zones for children of all ages, carefully integrating the equipment into the existing woodland and preserving the natural landscape.
Solution: Designing play zones using eco-friendly materials with an emphasis on natural tones. The core concept is based on geoplastics: artificial mounds were formed on the playgrounds, integrating metal tube slides, climbing grips, and log balancers. The locations were outfitted with multi-level wooden structures, rope transitions, carousels, and spring riders. The seamless, shock-absorbing safety surfacing was executed in a muted terracotta and green color scheme that mimics natural textures.
Result: A modern recreational network has been created in the park, seamlessly integrated into the ecosystem. The use of geoplastics and natural materials successfully expanded the variety of active play scenarios.
