Eight Play and Recreation Areas at the Liteyny Residential Complex

Objective: to landscape the residential complex and create eight outdoor areas with different functions. The project had to include separate play zones for toddlers and older children, a space for sports, and recreation areas with site furniture. The client paid close attention to the appearance of the grounds, so every design decision required detailed approval.

Solution: the project was delivered in two phases, with four areas completed during each phase. All equipment for the first phase was selected from items available in stock. Leber handled the full scope of works: foundation preparation, the supply and installation of equipment and site furniture, and the laying of rubber safety surfacing. For the first time, Leber managed every stage of project delivery, from foundation preparation to equipment installation and rubber surfacing.

Construction took place during autumn and winter. Special admixtures and concrete heating were used for the foundations to allow installation work to continue during the cold season in accordance with the required construction procedures.

Result: the residential complex now has eight completed areas for play, exercise, and relaxation. The children’s zone features compact play units for toddlers and larger structures with rope bridges, climbing elements, and a tube slide for older children. The sports area is equipped with outdoor fitness and calisthenics equipment. The recreation spaces include benches, rocking loungers, and other site furniture.

The client received a complete landscaping solution from a single contractor, covering equipment selection and design approval through to the installation of site furniture and the laying of rubber surfacing.
