Dog walking area

Client: Department of Capital Repair of the City of Moscow (DKR).

Objective: To design a spacious off-leash dog exercise and training area in a busy district. The large site needed to accommodate a broad range of activities while allowing several owners to train their dogs at the same time without interfering with one another.

Solution: Leber developed the complete site layout and selected the full set of equipment. The area was enclosed with metal fencing, while the agility obstacles were arranged into several training circuits. An A-frame ramp, an elevated dog walk, a hoop jump and other elements allow users to create different sequences of balance, coordination and obstacle negotiation exercises.

The spacing between the obstacles and the direction of movement were planned for the simultaneous training of several dogs. Owners have sufficient space to accompany their pets along the circuits, while benches are positioned outside the main movement paths.

Result: The completed project provides a fenced space with several training circuits. The variety of equipment allows users to change the sequence of exercises, while the layout enables different groups to use the area simultaneously.
