Action-Packed Children’s Play Space at «Krasnaya Dorozhka» Park

Client: Department of Capital Repair of the City of Moscow (DKR)

Objective: develop a children’s play area within «Krasnaya Dorozhka» Park, a protected green zone. The project required creating striking focal points on a high-visibility, high-foot-traffic site. Under special oversight and scheduled for inspection by Moscow’s top leadership, the project demanded the highest standards of equipment quality, safety, and visual appeal.

Solution: to make the space both functional and engaging, the Leber team proposed installing three large-scale, high-capacity play complexes. This approach allowed for effective age segregation: the «Towers» complex is engineered for children aged 7 and up, featuring complex spatial climbing routes, while the «Naukograd» (Science City) complex is equally suitable for younger children. Packing the site with diverse physical activities ensured high throughput capacity along a popular park promenade, while strict adherence to safety standards enabled the project to pass high-level municipal inspection with flying colors.

Result: an architecturally expressive, feature-packed play space was established in «Krasnaya Dorozhka» Park. The installation of large-scale complexes created popular focal points that effortlessly handle heavy visitor traffic.
