Yuri Volkov has been working in business education and practical business consulting for more than 20 years. In 2024, he joined the board of directors of Leber.
His focus is on financial management, corporate finance, and risk management. Other professional interests encompass financial modeling, mergers and acquisitions, and company valuation.
At the National Research University Higher School of Economics, he was recognized as the top teacher in both 2023 and 2022.
Yuri Volkov leads corporate training sessions. He works with clients such as Lukoil, KazMunayGas, BP, Enel, Salavatnefteorgsintez, Gazpromexport, Novatek, Rosneft, Linde, Siemens energy, Hevel, Grass, several international and Russian banks, Pfizer, and other developing companies.
He has created two distance courses focused on financial management for high-tech businesses and risk management. These educational programs have been finished and are being used at the Higher School of Management and Innovation of Moscow State University, along with other faculties.
He speaks English and Serbian. His interest lies in philately - he has amassed a vast assortment of butterfly stamps.
