Leber cares about the environment and adheres to the principles of sustainability in the production of playgrounds. Our team carefully selects materials and technologies that minimize negative impact and meet safety standards.
We purchase wood only from suppliers who have a forest coupon — a special document confirming the company's participation in reforestation programs. This year alone, with our support, we planted trees in seven regions of Russia on an area of more than 50 hectares. We are confident that 100% of the forest areas where materials for our playgrounds are harvested will be restored.
We use recycled plastic pellets derived from PET lids, which reduces the amount of plastic waste. The use of recycled plastic reduces the consumption of natural resources and significantly reduces the amount of waste ending up in landfills, helping to reduce the burden on the environment. It helps reduce carbon emissions because the materials are burned under controlled conditions and minimizes methane emissions that are produced when organic waste decomposes in landfills. Production through this practice reduces its dependence on external energy sources, which strengthens sustainability.
We use polyester ropes and wrap each strand with recycled material. This not only makes the ropes very durable and resistant to vandalism, but also makes them more environmentally friendly. The rope fasteners are made from recycled aluminum cans, which reduces energy consumption and waste.
